Reflection: Checks for Understanding Making Connections- Literary Text - Section 2: Independent Practice

The reading guide encourages students to stop, write, and TALK to their partner about what they are reading. It also allows me to assess students' use of the strategy. The beauty of the guide is that is can be used with any book on any level.
