Reflection: Exit Tickets A Lesson in Subject-Verb Agreement - Section 4: Wrap Up


I think changing the way I checking for understanding during the Wrap Up is helpful for my students (as well as me). This form of an exit ticket was successful for a few reasons. Picking names from a container added some suspense to the activity and increased their attention on the task. Giving students 1 minute to answer the question and explain why it is correct kept the momentum going and increased their attention as well.
