Reflection: Student Self-Assessment Math Foldables - Geometry Assessment - Section 2: Alternative Assessment using a Foldable


By giving the students an alternative method of assessment, this allowed the students to assess themselves by providing any information that they wanted to provide.  A lot of times as teachers, we ask specific questions of the students.  The students may not know the answer to that particular question, but they may know more about the topic than we think.  By providing alternative ways of assessment, it gives each student a chance to be successful.
