You'll notice that my student pages are different than the one I provided for you in the packet.  I often am changing and tweaking things to make them better for my students.  In this case, I noticed the students had a hard time organizing their words, and knowing how many of which kind they had written down.  For this reason, in the new packet, I changed it to add stars and circles to record the interesting words and figurative language.

Objective: SWBAT choose ten interesting words and two examples of figurative language that apply to their planet to make their report more appealing.

Big Idea: Creative words and phrases fly like shooting stars as the students brainstorm, and use resources to locate amazing adjectives, similes, metaphors, onomatopoeia, and idioms.
