Reflection: Pacing Poetry: Personification - Section 4: Practicing the Skill

Today’s work went fairly quickly and we had extra time, as I had hoped. Not all of the students were able to finish yesterday’s work on idioms and I tried to squeeze in a few minutes today to allow them a chance to work on their pages. Those who were finished were able to choose their own poetry books, look for examples of the terms we’ve learned, and note them on their tracker sheets.
