Reflection: Conferencing The Power of Writing: Final Draft Letters to the President - Section 4: Demonstrate Skills

I love times when all my students are working on a project and I can easily rotate around the room to touch base with my students!  This is a perfect time for conferencing!  During these times, I can ask students who I see are having trouble with part of the conventions of writing about their thinking so I can get a better understanding of how to improve their understanding and guide their instruction!  This is also a great time to conference with students who excel in writing and need a further push to challenge themselves as well!  This is a great time to jump in and conference with students!
