Reflection: Unit Exams The Whipping Boy - Assessment - Section 2: "The Whipping Boy" Assessment

My students have struggled the entire year with being able to find evidence from the text to support their answers. They want to quickly answer the question and move on. After correcting these end of unit assessments, I found that the majority of students were still struggling with this. Before I handed the tests back, we went through the test and we talked specifically about what it means to use evidence from the text to support your answer. I then gave the students a few practice questions and ask them to support their answers from the text. I hope will help in future exams.
