Reflection: Modeling Adverbs - How Did It Happen? - Section 2: Independent Practice


My English language learners initially had trouble using the adverbs in sentences. Due to Common Core this is the first time they are being asked to do so. After a few more modeling examples from me, they began writing them with ease.  When one student finished writing her sentences, she noticed how much longer they were than previous sentences in her language journal.
