Reflection: Intervention and Extension Discounts and Sales Tax - Section 1: Introduction

There are so many different words for items on sale - discount, deduction, markdown, savings, reduced price, sale price, etc.  My students struggle keeping these straight.  I shared this with the 7th grade ELA teacher.  She offered to include some of these terms in her weekly vocabulary assignment.  She uses a template similar to this.  I'm mostly concerned with students being able to see that discount, markdown, savings, and reduction are all synonymous.  I also want them to be able to distinguish these from sale price and reduced price.
