Reviewing Volumes of Solids and Differential Equations (part 3 of 3)

Print Lesson

Objective

SWBAT apply their knowledge of volumes of solids and differential equations in problem solving contexts.

Big Idea

If students truly understand volumes of solids and DEs, they will be able to answer high rigor questions about these topics. Let’s find out.

Closure + Homework

2 minutes

To close today's lesson I will lead a conversation with students about how they plan to study  in preparation for tomorrow’s test on Volumes of Solids and Differential Equations.  I will ask the students if they will:

  1. Review prior homework assignments and quizzes?
  2. Solve problems that we skipped on homework assignments?
  3. Reread examples from the textbook and online?
  4. Collaborate with other students on Calculus Connection?
  5. Other strategies?

Watch my closure video discussing strategies for closing lessons.
