Here are some sample problems that you may choose to use on your exam for this unit. I tried to keep the focus on the big picture of the unit but also tie in some important themes from other units. I discuss this intent in the video below.
The last two units (Trigonometric Functions and Trigonometric Relationships) are typically the most difficult for my students. This unit is a definite change of pace and I find that the assessment scores are typically higher than the last two units. However, there are still some concepts that they struggle with. The conversion from rectangular to polar form is an important concept in this unit, so I pay particular attention to how they do with this part so that there won't be big issues when we study polar coordinates and polar equations.
