Quick Quizzes
We had a shortened schedule this day so I decided to squeeze in a quick quiz to assess students’ knowledge of the Law of Sines and Cosines:
Quick Quizzes - Law of Sines and Cosines
Note the ID number in the top left corner to designated the different quizzes 1-5. Students can enter their answers into the clicker and it will grade their work, answers are programmed into the Quick Quiz Checker - Law of Sines and Cosines.flipchart.
I required my students to get 100% on the quiz. So it was a 100% or a zero until they obtained the 100%. I offered two opportunities in class to take a quiz (using quiz #1 and #2). Today was the first opportunity and I offered their second chance on the first review day. Students could also come in any time before or after school to get help and retake the quiz on their own time. I required the quiz to be completed by the time they took their exam. It was a bit harsh, but really made my students who were struggling come in and get the help they needed. If they had retaken it 5 times and still didn't get the 100% I gave them the last score they obtained.
