Each day, students complete a Warm Up that usually consists of spiraling the previous day's material, in addition to older material. Warm-up problems also sometimes extend lessons that students have encountered before to more unfamiliar contexts.

For the Huddle in this lesson, I review Problem_3. Rather than go straight to the right answer, I ask a kid to disprove each of the wrong answers. I hold out until I get logical proof that each of the wrong answers is wrong, and then we work through why the right answer is right. Really important critical reasoning here!
Homework is to be completed at home and should take students approximately 15 minutes. The homework for this lesson is 9 - 6 HW123 Categorical data 2.
