Objective: SWBAT translate figures and determine rules of translation.
Each day, students complete a warm-up that usually consists of spiraling the previous day's material, in addition to older material. Warm-up problems also sometimes extend lessons that students have encountered before to more unfamiliar contexts.

Play of the Day
For the huddle for this lesson, since we are just in the beginning of this unit, I really want to spiral the lesson from yesterday. As a summarizer, I go through the following:
- Definition of congruence
- Definition of similarity
- Review transformations (body language)
- Which one of the transformations is not like the other?
- What is the only thing that stays the same in a dilation? (angle measures)
It is powerful to do this daily until kids are 100% fluent.
