Lessons 1 - 4: Angle Intro, Measuring Angles, Adjacent / Verticle Angles, and Line Types
Resources: 3 LESSON 1: Students will be able to use protractors to measure angles to nearest degrees. LESSON 2: Students will be able to classify angles as acute, obtuse, reflex straight or right. LESSON 3: Students will be able to 1) Understand and apply the property that the sum of angle measures at a point is 360 degrees, and 2) Understand and apply the property that vertical angles have equal measures. LESSON 4: Students will be able to identify and define parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines. |

Lessons 5 - 8: Triangle Sorting, Angles in a Triangle, Congruent Triangles, Lines of Symmetry
Resources: 3 LESSON 5: Students will be able to 1) Classify triangles by their side lengths, and 2) classify triangles by their angle measures. LESSON 6: Students will be able to understand and apply the property that the sum of the angle measures of a triangle is 180 degrees.. LESSON 7: Students will be able to 1) define and identify congruent shapes, and 2) define and identify similar shapes. LESSON 8: Students will be able to define and identify lines of symmetry. |
