Unit Description

Students will recognize multiple types and styles of poetry. They will respond in writing to poetry as well as read poetry fluently and with expression. Students will be able to define and identify figurative language in poetry.

This is such a great unit!  YOu make reference to their "poetry folders" several times.  What do you include in those folders??  Please advise.  Thanks again for sharing this!!  :)
