Unit: Prepositional Phrase
Jafar, the prepositional phrase sorcerer, must be stopped. This unit is divided into two lessons. The first asks students to identify prepositions, and the second asks students to identify two types of prepositional phrases: adjectival and verbal. All the examples relate to Aladdin, the Disney movie, but students do not require content knowledge to be successful. The final assessment is a battle with Jafar. Hidden amongst a battle scene with Aladdin and Jafar are 40 prepositional phrases. If the class average is 85 or higher, allow your students to watch the 30 second Youtube clip of Jafar being defeated.
