Lesson: Assessments: I vs. We
Computer(s) with internet access
Art Supplies (drawing, coloring, painting, etc)
Camera (webcam, cell phone, video camera)
Tape Recorder or recording program on computer, preferably Garageband (some cell phones make sound recordings, but often these can not be edited)
After having explained the parameters of the project and distributing the attached grading rubric to each student, allow students to work independently or in partners to develop their "ad". Designate the day, time and order of presentation. Invite student families if possible. Check with students about necessary equipment (speakers, etc.)
As students present, use the attached rubric to grade them. Meet with each group afterwards to deliver feedback.
