### Lesson Objective

Lesson Objective (CCS - G-CO - Geometric constructions): The students will be able to find the measure of inside and outside angles. They will be able to apply the Triangle Sum Theorem and Exterior Angle Theorem to solve real world problems.

### Lesson Plan

Activity 1:  Warm-up Questions.

3x+4=7x-1                2(x+5)= 10               3x+1+4x-3=180

Activity 2:  Go over homework questions.

Activity 3:  Anticipatory Set

Using Sketchpad or some other geometric computer program have the students complete the activity that has the student self discover the Triangle Sum Theorem (180 degrees in every triangle) and the Exterior Angle Theorem (the sum of the 2 remote interior angles equal the exterior angle).  If no computer program is handy, using paper and protractor will provide the same results.

Activity 4:  Fill out foyer notes.

Activity 5:  Have students do the exit ticket by using the Boss/Secretary style of cooperative learning.  One person tells how to do the problem, the other student writes it down.  Switch rolls.

Activity 6: Homework-Printed out screen shot showing full star and proficiency.
