 Review of beat matrix

Review of techniques for identifying pitches on treble clef

Review of 3 fingerings on the

Did students correctly write and circle  the beat matrix?

Did the students label the notes with the correct pitch name?

Did the students indicate the different hand patterns for the different notes

(Describe the independent activity to reinforce this lesson)

 

 

  Notating 4 bars of music with indicators for rhythm, pitch, and hand pattern.  Students are divided into groups that determine what area they need to focus on - Group 1 pitch names, Group 2 Rhythm and Beat Matrix, Group 3 Hand Pattern, Group 4 drawing the notation freehand
