 Recognizing the difference between quarter notes and quarter rests and how to notate the difference on a beat matrix.

Tapping foot to keep track of the beat and play the correct rhythm

HW-students will cirble the beat matrixes of 3 exercises from Essential Elements and practice the rhythms using correct hand patterns.
