To be able to read the first phrase of a piece of recorder music that students can practice as HW.

 LANGUAGE OBJECTIVE - SWBAT ask questions using appropriate Tier 3 words and gain information from the questions of

their peers.

 

 

To correct mistakes in exercises from weeks past

How to write quarter notes vs. half notes vs. whole notes

How to write the pitches G, A, and B on the treble staff

Did students correctly write the beat matrix?

Did the students label the notes with the correct pitch name?

Did the students indicate the different fingerings for the different notes?

 Notating 4 bars of music with indicators for rhythm, pitch, and fingerings.
