Students will hear different instruments with eyes closed, and be asked to identify what instrument they are hearing. 

Coloring different woodwind instruments pictures

 

Activity

(Describe the independent activity to reinforce this lesson)

 

 

Students will see, hear and be able to touch a saxophone, a flute, and a clarinet.

Students will listen to a reading about woodwind instruments and evidence understanding through verbal and non-verbal answers.

Students will try to finger different positions on a recorder flute without mouthpiece
