LANGUAGE OBJECTIVE-SWBAT evidence understanding of different pitches and note values  by verbally explaining their position and appearance on the treble staff.

Playing the appropriate bell at the right time to the beat using 3 pitches. Low, Medium and High pitch - playing skipping vs. stepping intervals.

Introduction of quarter note rhythms on a beat matrix

Did the students play the instrument with the correct rhythm on their instrument with the class

Checking the work on Worksheet #1 that they had for HW.

Playing 3 pitches in a 4/4 4 measure melody - notating the high, medium, and low pitches, and correctly filling out the beat matrix.
