Lesson Objective
Lesson Plan
Students will know the rules of the music classroom, what activities take place in the music classroom, and what they are expected to learn in September in the 4th year of their music program.
LANGUAGE OBJECTIVE
SWBAT increase their expressive language skills by using details when describing their music experiences in the classroom by using Tier 3 vocabulary that is used in the class as evidenced by their ability to identify different aspects and ask question about the music instruments discussed.

2-Introduction to Woodwinds
3-Identifying pitches Using The Hand Staff - How to identify the letters of the lines and spaces
Other Resources Read Aloud - Woodwinds book
HW-Memorize the method for learning the names of the spaces and lines on the hand staff by practicing saying the correct name while pointing to the different spaces everyday for 5 minutes, forwards and backwards.
