### Course Description

Geometry is the second-year course of the traditional high school mathematics class trajectory, which progresses as follows: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trig/Math Analysis/Pre-Calculus. We are using the College Preparatory Mathematics (CPM) Connections curriculum, and specifically the Geometry Connections textbook. This course is student-centered, inquiry-based, and is designed for students to discover mathematics That having been said, we will still emphasize the study and memorization of essential vocabulary, theorems, and postulates essential to the understanding of high school Geometry. This course is rigorous and demands that each student justify his/her mathematical thinking.
