Course Description

Developmentally, students learn to recognize and manipulate numbers and letters starting from at least K. In the case of music education programs, music notation is usually not introduced until they start a simple instrument like recorder - which is usually around 3rd grade. My curriculum emphasizes reading music notation from K through 5th grade, while making connections with other - non music related - subjects.
