This Four Square note model is one any student can create with a piece of paper. It requires folding and labeling the squares for their notes. Students will practice labeling, and through guided practice fill in their squares with notes from text.
Finding good sources can be tricky and students have little experience with identifying them. This lesson is fun introduction to learning the difference between the two and begin the task of sorting out which are primary and secondary.
What a better way to learn and practice test taking skills then on an actual test. This lesson uses a test students were going to take in history. I will model good test taking, they will practice with multiple choice, short answer, and reading passages.
