While reading independently, students will code two short texts on Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. After sharing their work with partners, students will then complete a 3-2-1 activity to show what they learned from the passages.
In CCSS assessments, students must be able to read a passage and answer layered questions that represent multiple skills. These lessons help prepare students to look at an article through more than one lens.
