About Daniel
I started in education as a New York City Teaching Fellow and currently teach coding, community-based environmental science, and biopsychology in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Each year my goal is to craft learning experiences that inspire my students to use the processes and products of STEM fields to create lasting change in the world. Additionally, I like to explore emerging movements in education, especially engineering-design thinking, edtech, social emotional learning, and innovative school design. Outside of my classroom, I am actively involved with Math for America, Sci-Ed Innovators, the NYCDOE iZone, and the Blended Learning Institute.
