About Amy
Working my way from a teacher of students with severe behavioral disorders in a day treatment facility, to a resource room and inclusion support specialist, and finally to a general education classroom teacher with English Language Learner Certification, has been a journey of nineteen years. The common thread in all of these experiences has been a love of teaching science, and a passionate belief that all students can succeed. I take tremendous enjoyment in writing curriculum that aligns with the standards, provides for high expectations and rigor, yet provides universal access. I am passionate about differentiated instruction, and the quest to insure that every single student in my classroom learns to their best potential.
