Big Idea:Stop! It's Data Time. Every time your read me from the left or the right. It's the numbers on the board, that make the data right. Students take part in a quick survey to start the lesson and then continue to work on their data representations.
Big Idea:Operation Independence! Students will now take what they have learned from previous data lessons and put it into action. The students will work in pairs of two to decide on a survey question and then collects classmates' responses to their question.
Big Idea:After developing a survey questions and polling their classmates (in yesterday's lesson), students will now find a way to represent their findings and write a statement about what they noticed.
Big Idea:It's a Graph Party and you're invited! Today the students will be involved in creating three different types of graphs and then be asked to answer questions about each representations data set.
