I am currently an English and journalism teacher at Taunton High School in Taunton, MA. Primarily, I teach English III-American Literature and a course called Publications, which produces the school’s student newspaper and literary magazine. Taunton High is an inner city school in southeastern Massachusetts, situated between Providence, RI and Cape Cod. We have approximately 2,400 students in grades 8-12, and we boast a very diverse, multi-cultural student body. I have been teaching since the fall of 2002, all at Taunton High. As advisor to the school literary magazine, we have won multiple awards from the Columbia University Scholastic Press Association. I have an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Rhode Island. I also have an MA in English from Bridgewater State University and a CAGS in Educational Leadership also from Bridgewater State University.
