About Rhonda
I am a teacher at Rogers New Technology High School in Rogers Arkansas. This is the first year for this school, but I am in my 10th year of teaching. It is focused on Project and Problem Based Learning. I previously taught at Rogers High School for 9 years, but transferred to challenge my own teaching and student thinking. I have a BA in mathematics, and a Masters of Art in Teaching Degree. I am National Board Certified in Mathematics for Adolescence and Young Adulthood. I am always seeking an opportunity to continually improve my teaching and help students take ownership of their own learning to be successful in mathematics by sharing my expertise and collaborating with other committed educators. I try to bring variety to my diverse classroom, along with consistency to provide students with the skills that they need to problem solve on their own with technology, and without technology in our changing education system, and society.
