Students will read independently for a prolonged amount of time to practice reading stamina.

Creating Rules for Workshop Time
Students will create classroom rules for workshop time during Reader's Workshop. They will engage in discussion about these rules with their peers.

Knowing Yourself as a Reader
Students will think about distractions they face while reading and come up with solutions to these problems. Students will also complete a reading survey to get to know themselves as readers.
