Unit: Persuasive Writing

Students learn the basics of persuasive writing: crafting a topic sentence, drawing evidence for arguments from a variety of sources, and hammering in their points with sub-details.

  5. Polishing Persuasive Paragraphs

    SWBAT add transition words and polish persuasive paragraphs.

     
  6. Independent Persuasive Assignments

    SWBAT write a persuasive paragraph from start to finish.
