Build adaptive, creative problem solvers

Deliver personalized professional learning to every teacher

BetterLesson recognizes that professional learning is fundamentally about supporting teachers to make concrete changes in practice. We know this is hard work. And the approaches that work are curricular-specific, job-embedded, bottom-up, and supported by skilled coaching.

Accelerate teacher growth through continuous learning

Continuous learning is the transformative component. By bringing try-measure-learn methodology into their classroom, teachers quickly discover what works for their students.

And we’re aligned to the research-based frameworks you already use!

BetterLesson offers a rich library of premium teaching strategies. They are structured and tagged to leading learning models, including Marzano, Danielson, and state learning standards. This enables teachers to easily tie these strategies into existing lesson plans.

How should you bring PersonalizedPD to your district?

It depends on your particular challenges and priorities. Here are five model strategies that we have seen deliver exciting results.

Let‘s hear what teachers and admins have to say

”The TeachCycle process assists in collecting and analyzing useful student data in order to effectively alter individual teaching practices to find maximum student learning in the classroom. Since every teacher is different, we are able to work with our own strengths and weaknesses.“
Tiffanie Lake
High School Math Teacher, Colorado
”[PersonalizedPD] is a great individual and group professional development opportunity for our teachers. It allows them to customize the focus to their needs/classroom. Also, in a day where educators are pulled in so many directions and plates are full, the TeachCycle process makes sure teachers continue with the PD and see strategies through.“
Danielle Cournaya
Assistant Principal, Ira Jones Middle School, Illinois
”The Teachcycle process has helped me plan more effectively to target certain problem areas in my classroom which has made student growth more tangible. Being able to measure student growth more clearly has definitely helped students become more accountable to their progress, helping them achieve better outcomes.“
Valeria Gamarra
6-8 Social Studies Teacher, Florida
