What's In a Hexagon?

Unit 8: Know Those Shapes!
Lesson 15 of 15

Objective: SWBAT make bigger shapes out of smaller shapes by putting them together and I can draw what I build.

Big Idea: Kindergartners love puzzles. This activity draws out their natural curiosity and ignites it in those who don't start school with much. They use smaller attribute blocks to fill in the hexagon spaces on the page and share what they have created.
