Objective: SWBAT compare and contrasts the first hand photographs in "Through My Eyes" by Ruby Bridges with second hand illustrations of the same events in "The Story of Ruby Bridges" by Robert Coles.

Big Idea: Now that we have compared the firsthand account of the story of Ruby Bridges with a secondhand account, we are digging deeper and analyzing the photographs in the firsthand account as well as the illustrations in the secondhand account.
