Where Do the Lines Cross?

Unit 3: Systems of Equations and Inequalities
Lesson 6 of 17

Objective: SWBAT activate prior knowledge about systems of equations to make a business recommendation based on multiple representations. SWBAT connect this work to solving systems algebraically, namely by using substitution.

Big Idea: How can we figure out the exact value of x and y when two lines cross? Students learn the importance of solving systems of equations using algebraic methods.
