Objective: Come to class prepared and actively participate in a literature circle meeting. Identify important plot events, generate questions and formulate personal connections in a work of fiction. Demonstrate knowledge of parts of speech. Apply knowledge of parts of speech.

Big Idea: Active participation in a literature circle builds comprehension and speaking and listening skills. It also includes an added treat when this class period falls on Halloween.
