# Understand one, infinite, or no solutions (Part 1 of 2)

Lesson 8 of 16

## Objective: SWBAT understand one, infinite, or no solutions to a system of linear equations.

## Big Idea: Is the equation sign lying, or telling us something we already knew? Explore and understand one, infinite, or no solutions.

#### Warm-up

*10 min*

Each day, students complete a warm-up that usually consists of spiraling the previous day's material, in addition to older material. Warm-up problems also sometimes extend lessons that students have encountered before to more unfamiliar contexts.

The homework includes questions related to this lesson, as well as spiraled review. I also provide answers to the problems on page 2.

Sharee - thanks for your comment and improvement on the lesson! I don't have separate lesson plans - but the Word document does have some comments that could be helpful if you download it and choose "show markup." I hope that helps. Thanks again!

We are doing a 2 week summer review camp and have decided to use your lesson. It seems very interactive and the only change I am going to make is to give the students white boards to do work on. We'll see how it goes. Thanks a lot. Is there any way to actually download the lesson plan?

Caitlin - thanks so much for the kind words! I am glad that you find the lessons helpful.

Caitlin - if you open the document in word, and then go to the "review" tab, you can chose "final" - which will give you the view without comments.

How do I open a copy without have the comments on the side?
