Unit 4: Blending
Lesson 3 of 7

Objective: SWBAT use the established story problem process of visualizing, retelling, and modeling when solving addition story problems. SWBAT add two quantities up to 20 using the counting all or counting on strategy.

Big Idea: The Zen of Mathematics happens here. Visualization is the key as students are asked to see the math, be the math, do the math. So join the fun and find your math "happy place" as students solve addition story problems both as a class and individually.
