Creating a Kerpoof story about the uniqueness of the USA as a Unit Assessment

Objective: SWBAT use a written dialogue worksheet to create a Kerpoof story about the uniqueness of the USA.
In this lesson, students build upon the previous lesson in which they wrote the dialogue of a Kerpoof narrative. They had a choice of 3 different topic scenarios for their narrative (see attachment). They will actually type their dialogue into the computer program, Kerpoof in this lesson and create a comic strip narrative.
Collaborative Partner Work
Students spent the majority of the class period working with their partner to designing their comic strip, selecting characters and setting, and typing their dialogue. I circulated around the class providing feedback to students as they developed their stories. (Teacher will need to use a class email account for Kerpoof to approve student accounts in order that students may save their work.)
