A Conceptual Introduction to Exponential Functions: Collaboration, Questioning, and Financial Advice!

Unit 2: Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
Lesson 3 of 21

Objective: Students will be able to further their experience with exponential functions through analyzing a real world document and providing “mathematical financial advice” to a client. Oral communication and collaboration are highly emphasized in this real-world lesson!

Big Idea: This lesson will provide students with the opportunity to investigate a conceptual understanding of exponential functions. Students will begin with a mathematical model and then extend their knowledge to providing "mathematical" financial advice based off
