Modeling With Frequency, Amplitude, and Midline

Unit 8: Trigonometry: Periodic Functions
Lesson 2 of 6

Objective: SWBAT use an trigonometric function to model the height of a rider over time on a Ferris Wheel ride, by developing new knowledge about frequency, amplitude and midline in that equation.

Big Idea: Modeling periodic phenomena is a culmination of a lot of the work we've done this year. This lesson gives students a glimpse of what this looks like.
