Reflection: Flexibility Las Posadas - Section 1: Warm Up

 

I usually like to begin my lesson with a video.  I find it a fun and easy way to introduce my story or content.  This time I felt that the topic was one that they all had background knowledge and could have discussion with out showing a video.  We had a class discussion about the subject.  Conversation is easy when the students understand, or have knowledge about the content.  It was fun to see how excited they were to talk about the fiestas and pinatas.  I think their pictures turn out great enough to save for their portfolios.
