Reflection: Intrinsic Motivation Leading the Personal Narrative with Suspense - Section 3: Guided Practice

 

Although I think using students examples for revising the lead is a really engaging way for them to practice the strategy before they have to use it, it may be too difficult for some students. Students who are not at grade level in writing or have not been exposed to a lot of books, might not have a lot of offer or might have a difficult time describing how they would revise a piece of writing that is not their own.
