## Reflection: Modeling Multiplication Storyboards - Section 2: Activity

I feel it’s important to allow students to create visual models of problems and to also create word problems that match their model. The more students can “See” a problem, the easier it is for them to find a path toward a solution. Not all students will need to rely on visual models as they increase their understanding of multiplication, but it certainly helps my ELL students and my students who are still struggling with basic math concepts.
