Reflection: Intrinsic Motivation Hi-Tech Fractions - Section 3: Wrap Up

This was a great way to end the lesson.  My students and I ended this lesson feeling so great about our accomplishments.  Listening to their ideas and comments about using the app helps create a lasting relationships that can foster deeper understanding and growth for me as well as my students.  It allowed me to tell them how great their work was and that I liked seeing the way they talked math with each other, worked together to problem solve, and persevered.  This immediate feedback is important and crucial in their development as mathematicians.  This was also a great way to debrief and get ourselves ready for the next part of the day.
